This one has already happened. It stays here as part of the record — and because whoever ran it will very likely run another.

We did not organise this event and we do not sell its tickets. We found it, checked it was about AI, and listed it. Booking takes you to the organiser.

Join AI Tinkerers for an after-work hackathon with one challenge: use AI coding tools to build a bot that plays generals.io, then put it up against everyone else’s.

generals.io is a strategy game about expanding your territory, growing your army and capturing the enemy general while protecting your own. The map is partly hidden by fog of war, so your bot will need to explore, make decisions with incomplete information and know when to attack.

You’ll have two hours to build, test and improve a bot that plays generals.io. Use your preferred AI coding tools to get it running, then spend the evening making it harder to beat.

WHAT IT COVERS
WHAT IT IS

About this one.

Written by AI Tinkerers - London, not by us — this is their description, tidied up and nothing more.

Start with something that can finish a game. Test it, watch where it falls apart and iterate. A reliable bot with one good trick could beat an ambitious one that forgets to defend its general.

Then we’ll put the bots into a tournament and see whose strategy survives.

Hands-on builders who want to experiment with AI coding tools and leave with something that runs. Come solo or build as a pair.

Bring your laptop, charger and access to your preferred AI coding tool.
