TERMS &
CONDITIONS.

The short version: be honest with us on a job application, show up to what you booked, be good to each other, and if something goes wrong we'll sort it out. We never charge you a penny to apply for a role. The slightly longer version is below, written in plain English.

01

Who we are

CHOOSETO is operated by CHOOSETO LEARN LTD, a company based in London, United Kingdom. In these terms, "we", "us", and "our" refer to CHOOSETO LEARN LTD. "You" means the person using the site or attending an event. By using chooseto.ai or chooseto.co, or any of their booking flows, you agree to these terms.

02

Using the site

You can browse the video library, apply for the roles we are hiring for, book tickets, register interest, and pitch a venue. An account is required to apply for a role, to book, and to manage your tickets. Keep your login details to yourself, use a strong password, and email hello@chooseto.ai immediately if you think your account has been compromised. You must be at least 18 to create an account or buy a ticket on your own behalf.

03

The video library

The clips on chooseto.ai are hosted on YouTube, not by us. We do not host, store, download, or re-upload anyone's video. Each clip plays inside YouTube's own official embedded player, which we do not alter, obscure, or strip of its controls, and we do not block or interfere with advertising, so views and any revenue go to the creator exactly as they would on YouTube itself. We index publicly available information about each video (title, channel, description, thumbnail, duration, and the tags our system works out) so that people can find it. Thumbnails are served live from YouTube.

We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to YouTube or Google LLC in any way. When you play a clip here, YouTube's own Terms of Service and Google's privacy policy apply to that playback alongside ours. All video content and channel names remain the property of their respective owners.

If you are a creator and you would rather your videos were not listed here, email hello@chooseto.ai and we will take the channel down. You do not need to give a reason.

Job applications

When you apply for a role listed on CHOOSETO, you are applying through us, not to us. We are the recruiter, not the employer. The employer named on the role decides who they interview and who they hire, on their own terms and their own timetable. Nothing on this site is an offer of employment, and applying does not guarantee a reply, an interview, or a job.

Our fee is paid by the employer. We never charge candidates, at any stage, for anything: not to apply, not to be put forward, not to be prepared for an interview. If anyone claiming to represent us asks you for money, it is not us. Email hello@chooseto.ai and tell us.

What you tell us has to be true. Your CV, your work history, your qualifications, your right to work, and your answers to a role's questions all need to be accurate. We may verify any of it, and we may ask an employer or a referee to confirm it. If we find something materially false we can withdraw an application, remove you from a process, and decline to represent you in future. That is at our discretion, and we will tell you why.

Your application is ours to hold until we put you forward. While we are assessing it, your CV and details stay with CHOOSETO. If we decide to introduce you, we send your CV and our written assessment to the employer named on the role, and we email you when we do. We do not send your details to anyone else, and we do not put you forward for a different role without asking you first.

We write notes about your application. Some are shared with you, some with the employer, and some are internal. An AI reads your application against the role's written criteria and suggests a score and a note for each one. It advises; a person decides. Every decision at every stage is made by a person: we do not reject anyone automatically, and you can ask for a decision to be looked at again. If you give us a mobile number we may text you about an interview or to ask for a video introduction; tell us to stop and we will email instead. You can ask to see the notes we hold about you, under the rights set out in our privacy policy.

You can withdraw at any point, for any reason or none. Use the button on your application page, or email us. We stop the process, tell the employer if you have already been introduced, and note it on your file. Withdrawing once does not stop you applying again later.

Right to work. Roles may require the right to work in a particular country. Where a role says so, we ask about it up front, and we take your answer at face value. The employer is responsible for the formal right-to-work check before you start, and an offer can be conditional on it.

The role as advertised can change. Salary ranges, titles, locations, and closing dates are given to us by the employer and may move or be withdrawn. We keep listings as accurate as we can, but the employer's own contract of employment is the only thing that binds them.

05

Ask Choosy career plans

Ask Choosy writes you a plan for getting into an AI role, from the answers you give and, if you choose, your CV and what you tell us you want from AI. It is a starting point, not careers advice. The plan is written by an AI working from our own library, and it can be wrong or out of date. It does not promise a job, a salary or any outcome, and decisions about your education, your work and your money are yours.

What you share stays with us. Your answers, your aims and the plan are used only to write the plan, and are never shared with employers or any other company. A CV you upload is kept privately in your CV library, and only reaches an employer if you apply for a role with it. Our privacy policy sets out exactly what is sent to our AI provider and how long we keep it.

What you share has to be yours. Only upload your own CV, and do not put anybody else's personal details into your answers.

06

Tickets & deposits

Tickets and deposits are non-transferable without our written agreement. Each event has its own refund window. You can see the rules at checkout, and they're repeated in your order email. If you can't make it, contact tickets@chooseto.ai as early as possible. Inside the no-refund window we generally can't refund: the room has been booked, the teachers have been paid, and someone is already prepping food.

07

Cancellations by us

Sometimes events get cancelled, postponed, or relocated: illness, venue problems, transport strikes, acts of god. If that happens we email you immediately, refund your ticket in full to the original payment method, and (if we can) offer a comped seat at the next event in the series.

08

Conduct in the room

We reserve the right to refuse entry or ask people to leave without a refund if they're being disruptive, harassing other guests, or clearly intoxicated on arrival. We have a zero-tolerance approach to discrimination, harassment, or threatening behaviour.

09

Photography & recording

Events are sometimes photographed for our journal and social channels. If you're recognisable in the background of a photo, we'll happily take it down on request. We do not sell your likeness. Teachers retain rights to any performance media unless they've agreed otherwise in writing.

10

On-demand bookings & host pitches

If you enquire about a private booking or pitch a venue, we use your details only to respond and (if we go ahead together) deliver the event. Quotes are valid for 14 days unless we say otherwise. A booking is confirmed only when we've countersigned and the deposit is paid.

11

Liability

We take reasonable steps to make events safe. You're responsible for your own behaviour, belongings, and how you get home. Nothing in these terms excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or anything that cannot be excluded under applicable UK law. Other than that, our liability for any one event is capped at the amount you paid for it.

12

Intellectual property

The CHOOSETO name, wordmark, and brand assets belong to CHOOSETO LEARN LTD. You can link to chooseto.ai, share screenshots, and post about events you've attended. You can't use our brand to imply endorsement, or scrape the site to power a competing service.

13

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms materially, we'll email active account holders at least 14 days before the change takes effect. Continued use of the site after a change counts as acceptance. The version in force is whatever is published here.

14

Governing law & disputes

These terms are governed by English law. Disputes are heard in the courts of England and Wales. We'd much rather solve things over email. Drop us a line and we'll do everything we can before it gets that far.

15

Getting in touch

Any questions, any problems, any complaints: hello@chooseto.ai. We read every email. We prefer solving things over escalating them.
