Cookies are small text files your browser keeps for us. We try to use as few as possible. Below is exactly what runs and when.
You can change your choices any time using the floating cookie button in the bottom-left of the page, or by clearing the chooseto_consent cookie in your browser.
01
Necessary
Always on
These cookies are essential for the site to work. They keep you signed in, hold your shopping basket while you check out, protect against CSRF attacks, and remember your cookie choices. Without them the site simply doesn't function. They contain no marketing or tracking data.
XSRF-TOKEN, chooseto_session, chooseto_consent
02
Analytics
Only with consent
If you opt in, we use lightweight, privacy-respecting analytics to understand which events get attention and which pages confuse people. We don't cross-reference analytics data with your account, and we don't share it with ad networks.
Optional. Disabled until you click "Accept all" or enable them in the cookie banner.
03
The YouTube player
Only when you press play
Clips are played through YouTube's own embedded player. That player is not loaded until you press play on a clip, so no YouTube or Google cookie is set by simply browsing the library. The moment you do play something, YouTube may set its own cookies and receive your IP address and player activity under Google's privacy policy, exactly as it would on youtube.com. We are not affiliated with YouTube or Google, and we have no access to whatever they set. Thumbnails are served from YouTube's image servers, which does mean YouTube sees the request for the picture even before you play.
Set by youtube.com, not by us. Nothing until you press play.
04
Marketing
Only with consent
Currently disabled across the entire site. If we ever turn them on (e.g. retargeting an email campaign), they'll appear in this list and you'll need to opt in via the cookie banner first.
None today.
