These are needed for the site to work, so they do not ask. They keep you signed in, hold your basket while you check out, protect forms against forgery, remember your cookie choice, and remember that you closed or answered the newsletter box so we stop showing it. They contain no advertising or tracking data.

Analytics
Only with consent
If you opt in, we use Google Analytics to see which pages get visited and where people get stuck. Google Analytics is not anonymous: Google receives your IP address and sets its own cookies, and processes the data under its own privacy policy. We do not send it your name or email, and we do not use it to advertise to you. With this switched on we also remember, for 90 days, which link brought you to a job, so the person who referred you is credited if you apply later. Say no and none of this runs: Google's script is not even loaded.

The YouTube player
Only when you press play
Clips are played through YouTube's own embedded player. That player is not loaded until you press play on a clip, so no YouTube or Google cookie is set by simply browsing the library. The moment you do play something, YouTube may set its own cookies and receive your IP address and player activity under Google's privacy policy, exactly as it would on youtube.com. We are not affiliated with YouTube or Google, and we have no access to whatever they set. Thumbnails are served from YouTube's image servers, which does mean YouTube sees the request for the picture even before you play.

Marketing
Only with consent
If you opt in, we use the Meta Pixel to measure whether our Facebook and Instagram ads lead to sign-ups and ticket sales, and so Meta can show our ads to you and people like you. Meta receives your IP address, the pages you visit here and what you buy, sets its own cookies, and processes the data under its own privacy policy. Say no and Meta's script is not loaded at all.
