This one has already happened. It stays here as part of the record — and because whoever ran it will very likely run another.

Do We Need a Chief AI Officer? Monday, October 5 • 12:00 p.m. CT • Virtual AI tools commonly start in IT. Making them part of daily work requires decisions from HR, managers, and operating leaders. This Forum will examine whether one executive should be accountable across those groups—and whether that executive should be a Chief AI Officer (CAIO). The discussion will focus on what a CAIO should be able to decide, where the role should report, and how it should work with the CHRO, COO, and IT. It will also explore how companies can assign clear accountability without creating the position. The session will examine what already belongs to the CHRO when AI changes management expectations, job design, and workforce policy. This is a working session for CHROs, COOs, and HR leaders responsible for AI inside their own companies. Bring your org chart. Please be advised: Unfortunately, space is very limited at these community events and we can not always accept everyone we would like to. If you are not accepted to this event, please keep applying! We appreciate your application tremendously and we are looking forward to seeing you at a future event very soon!
