SATURDAY 17 OCTOBER 2026
13:00 – 17:00
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT CENTER
IN PERSON

We did not organise this event and we do not sell its tickets. We found it, checked it was about AI, and listed it. Booking takes you to the organiser.

AI agents are getting better at working through tasks, running on schedules, and continuing work between conversations. But what does it take to make one useful for you? This month, we’re getting hands-on with autonomous agents and AI automation. We’ll look at Muse, Dots, and other approaches, compare how they work, and help you decide what you’d like to try. The focus is on how you set things up: the instructions, context, connections, and permissions that let an agent help with your everyday work. The plan First 15 minutes: Get settled, grab food, and chat. Agent overview: Explore the options, what they’re useful for, and what’s involved in using them. Things you should understand: What is a container? What is a code sandbox? What can an agent access or change, and how do different systems handle that? We’ll explain these in plain language. Two audience examples: Bring something you’d like to automate. We’ll pick two examples and walk through how I would set them up. Hands-on workshop: Get help setting up whichever agent you choose, compare notes, and work on a task of your own. Five-minute demos: Have a useful setup to share? We’ll open the floor for short demonstrations during the workshop. We’re aiming for about an hour of guided discussion and examples after settling in, with the rest of our four-hour meeting available for setup, experimentation, and helping each other. What to bring Bring a laptop, charger, and an idea for something you’d like help automating. If you already have an agent running, bring your setup and show us what’s working, what isn’t, and what you’ve learned. All experience levels are welcome. You don’t need to know how to code, have a polished demo, or even bring a laptop. Watching, asking questions, and comparing notes are all good reasons to come. As always, food and drink, engaging conversation, and incredible company will all be provided! Please be advised: Unfortunately, space is very limited at these community events and we can not always accept everyone we would like to. If you are not accepted to this event, please keep applying! We appreciate your application tremendously and we are looking forward to seeing you at a future event very soon!
