This one has already happened. It stays here as part of the record — and because whoever ran it will very likely run another.

Seattle Claude for Designers is back! This time, we're widening the aperture: how are designers, builders, and creative technologists using AI to solve problems in genuinely new ways?
Claude Community x PSL: Creative problem solving with AI. We can all find productivity and efficiency hacks galore, but what about thinking bigger, moonshot ideas, expanding your capabilities into other design disciplines, and pushing creative problem solving with the help of AI? Thats what we want to talk about! Show & Tell — Around the table Bring your laptop, pull up a chair, and share what you’re making with Claude. This is a casual, small-group chance to swap ideas, show work in progress, and explore how AI is helping you take on creative challenges you might not have tackled before. Show us what you’re building, how you’re approaching it, and the tools you’re using. Experiments, rough prototypes, and ambitious works in progress are welcome. Come ready to share—or just be curious. Have something that could become a future lightning talk? This is a great place to try it out.
Small group show and tell will run from 5:30-6:15pm.
Show us one great thing. Get in, make the point, get out. Featured Speakers Emily Sullivan, Product Designer, OnTheClock Show Don't Tell Emily shows how to use Claude and the Figma MCP to make quick animations and motion designs for proofs of concept and projects, all without being a motion designer. Emily is a solo designer at a small SaaS company. Currently working on becoming a real design engineer, rather than a poser design engineer. Abhishek Shankar, User Experience Designer, Oracle Designing for the Details: Motion with Claude Motion is where the details live, and it's the part of a product people feel before they can explain it. Abhishek shares a few demos on building motion with Claude. You'll leave with prompts and ideas to try on your own work, and a new way to think about Claude as a creative partner for motion. Abhishek is a user experience designer at Oracle who works with motion, interactions, and AI on the Redwood Design System. He explores how Claude can help designers think, build, and tune motion in UX. Kyle Zantos, Product designer and builder (freelance) HTML as a Primary Design Artifact AI can build a working prototype quickly, but useful design feedback usually takes more than a generic first draft. Kyle walks through using quick HTML pages to explore directions, compare options, critique builds and make finished assets like App Store screenshots, working alongside agents and colleagues. The examples come from Headroom, Kyle's Mac and iPhone app, with practical patterns you can bring into your own design process. Kyle Zantos is a Seattle-area product designer and builder who spent fifteen years playing music before turning to software. He freelances, currently with Output (music software), and contributes regularly to the Dive Club podcast. Madison Joslyn, Designer and tech leader No More Ferry Math: Building an App With Claude After three hours stuck at a ferry terminal, Madison started prompting on her phone. By the time the boat arrived, she had mockups for an app that does the "ferry math" the WSDOT app leaves to riders. Now the test: can one product designer with no engineering background design, build and ship the whole thing with Claude? Madison Joslyn is a designer and tech leader with 17+ years at Meta, Amazon and GoDaddy. She co-founded Finds, an AI-powered fashion discovery startup, and uses AI to take ideas from mockup to working product. Madeleine Iribarren, Product Designer Paths: Rethinking How We Write with AI Writing is messy and iterative, and it rarely runs in a straight line from start to finish. Paths explores another way to write with AI, covering the design decisions, interactions and lessons learned from building and testing an experimental writing tool. Madeleine Iribarren is a product designer with a Master's in Human-Computer Interaction + Design from UW and a B.S. in Architecture from UVA. Previously, she spent four years as a Technical Designer at Gensler. The evening Come for the demos and the show & tell session. Stay for food (Un Po Tipsy pizza!), drinks, conversation, and meeting other designers (or design-adjacent!) in Seattle who are exploring what's possible with Claude. We'll be gathering in a rooftop space at Railspur overlooking Seattle, with indoor and outdoor space for hanging out after the talks. Absolutely beautiful venue to stoke the creative juices. Food and drinks provided. Claude swag will almost certainly make an appearance. Can anyone say stickers? It's a large venue, but space is limited, so please RSVP. Hosted with ❤️ by Anthropic, Pioneer Square Labs, Lucas Dickey and Andrei Alikimovich.
