WHAT IT COVERS
WHAT IT IS

About this one.

Claude Code Community Australia is excited to host a Claude Code Meetup. Limited Spots. Good people. Local Builders. 17:30 – 18:00 | Doors Open & Networking Kick things off — meet fellow AI-curious minds, and warm up before the main program begins. 18:00 – 18:15 | Opening: Why We're Here A quick intro to set the vibe for Australia's growing Claude community! 18:15 – 18:25 | Fable 5.1 Model release - What's new! A quick intro to Fable 5.1. 18:25 – 18:45 | Enterprise built apps at scale — Chale Dodge How I built an enterprise app with my team using Claude, Miro, Jira, Xray and playwright and how you can too. Will share architecture drawing as I connected a variety of services as well that scale. 18:45 – 19:05 | WebMCP: Making the Web Agent-Native — Beyond Browser Automation — Dhilipkumar Pandiarajan AI agents can use websites today — but they still have to look at pages, find controls, click buttons and hope the UI doesn’t change. What if websites could simply tell agents what they can do? In this talk, I’ll introduce WebMCP, an emerging approach for making web applications agent-native by exposing structured capabilities directly to AI agents. We’ll look at why traditional browser automation can be brittle, how WebMCP changes the interaction model, and how the same pattern could apply across retail, travel, banking, insurance, healthcare and SaaS. I’ll then show a live working demo built with Claude Code, where an agent discovers and uses capabilities exposed by a web application instead of navigating the UI step-by-step. The goal is to show what the web could look like when applications are designed not only for humans and APIs, but also directly for next generation of AI agents. I am working as an AI Engineering Lead in Sydney, building production AI and agentic systems. I work across AI agents, MCP, enterprise architecture and developer tooling, with a focus on turning emerging AI capabilities into enterprise products. 19:05 – 19:30 | Break — Networking and Pizza Have a slice of pizza, a beverage, and mix and mingle. Meet your local community. 19:30 – 19:45 | Managed agents, made easy — Dominik Fretz Dom will present Agentum an easy way to create Managed Agents, connect them to Slack, and let them act as your personal agents from everywhere. 19:45 – 20:00 | Community Q&A Often requested - a session where you can ask your questions and get answers from the hosts, and the community.

ID Required You will need to have signed up and been approved to the meetup and bring ID (electronic is file) with you. This is a requirement of the building security.

What is Claude Code? Claude Code is Anthropic's agentic coding tool that lives in your terminal. It lets you delegate coding tasks directly to Claude—whether you're building new features, debugging tricky issues, refactoring legacy code, or exploring unfamiliar codebases. Just describe what you want in natural language, and Claude Code handles the rest: reading files, making edits, running commands, and iterating until the job is done. Think of it as pair programming with an AI that can actually touch your codebase. No copy-pasting between a chat window and your editor—Claude Code works where you work.
