ChatGPT 5.5 Is Here: I Tested What It Can Actually Do

From the creator

*Get the ChatGPT guide:* https://clickhubspot.com/h30v I walk through how I test ChatGPT 5.5 with real tasks like coding, dashboards, websites, and agentic work. I wanted to see if ChatGPT 5.5 is really better than past ChatGPT models and other AI tools like Claude. So I gave it simple prompts, messy data, coding tests, and larger business tasks to see what it could do. I test ChatGPT 5.5 on website design, HTML code, a Sim City style game, an Earth dashboard, a business dashboard, and an Apple style product page. I also try a bigger prompt where ChatGPT 5.5 has to make a landing page, slideshow, and financial dashboard from one idea. I share what worked well, where ChatGPT 5.5 had errors, and how it compares to Claude Opus for coding and knowledge work. I also show how the thinking mode changes the results and why extended thinking can help with harder coding tasks. This is my first look at ChatGPT 5.5, so I keep it simple and focus on real use cases. If you use ChatGPT for work, coding, research, data, dashboards, websites, or AI agents, this should help you see what ChatGPT 5.5 can actually do. 👉 Join the fastest-growing AI education platform!
