Unity VR XR Development Meta Quest 2023, Getting Started PC & Mac, Open XR, XR Toolkit

Hey all, I hope you enjoy this short 2023 update tutorial on how to get started in VR XR development for the Meta Quest using Unity and a Windows based or Apple Mac machine. All the most up to date best practice packages UNITY, OPENXR, XR TOOLKIT This is suited to a Unity VR beginner interested in VR XR game development for the Oculus Meta Quest or training and simulation designers. Oculus Meta Quest and Unity VR development frameworks are moving fast so I wanted to create an up to date tutorial for mid 2023 which used the Unity XR Interaction Toolkit supported by Meta. All the software used in the tutorial is free and I've condensed the steps so you can get up and running quickly to get your first sense of accomplishment in VR XR development for the Oculus Quest. If you are on a PC I recommend using the Oculus Quest Link for faster development If you are on a Mac I show you how to deploy directly to the Quest using Unity.
