Claude Fable 5 is here: Anthropic just took a giant lead

I walk through what makes them different, who can use each one, and why Mythos 5 is still locked down. I also test Claude Fable 5 inside Claude and Claude Design. I use it for slides, coding demos, interactive projects, and prompt tests so you can see how it performs in real use. I compare Claude Fable 5 with Opus 4.8 on a Sim City style game, an AI history timeline, a solar system demo, and an ecosystem simulator. Some results are much better with Fable 5. Some are closer than I expected. I also cover Claude Fable 5 pricing, usage limits, reasoning effort, safety limits, and what happens when Claude switches back to Opus 4.8. This is my first look at Claude Fable 5, and I’ll keep testing it more with Claude Code, Claude Design, and bigger AI coding tasks.
