Learn To Rank #1 in AI Search https://skool.com/ai-ranking I tested OpenAI's brand new GPT-5.5 inside Codex to see if it could fully replace Claude Code for building client websites. One prompt, one model, one goal: design the homepage, generate the images with GPT Image 2, build it in Astro, and push it live to Cloudflare. Did I miss something, or is it just not there yet? Here's what actually happened. In this video: - Setting up brand guidelines so GPT-5.5 has something to work from - Using GPT Image 2 (thinking mode) to create a homepage design reference - Feeding the design into Codex and letting GPT-5.5 build in Astro - Adding the IsHover animated icon pack and GSAP scroll animations - Pushing the site straight to a Cloudflare staging URL via Wrangler - Honest verdict: am I switching from Opus 4.7 to GPT-5.5? Spoiler: the homepage was decent, but the solutions pages fell apart in ways Opus 4.6 / 4.7 simply don't. GPT-5.5 also burns through credits way faster on the $20 Plus plan, so if you're serious, you'll need the $100 tier. Let me know in the comments if I'm using it wrong.
