My App Got Approved. Next Stop, the iPhone Duo
My app SayRay got approved on the App Store, and now I'm getting it ready for the iPhone Duo before the phone even ships. I just got back from my trip, and I kept updating the app the whole time I was away from my computer, using Cursor in the cloud and Cursor Projects to hand off tasks and let the checks run on their own. The new iPad version adapts to every screen size and works in split screen, so you can drag your text straight from SayRay into another app, and that's exactly what the iPhone Duo is built for with two apps side by side. If you lean on the APIs Apple already built, it doesn't take a lot of extra coding, it just takes more knowledge. Everything runs right on your phone with no server, so it even works offline, and it's one flat price, no subscription, yours forever. Next up, I'm building my own fitness app from scratch, live, because workouts are pretty much the same for the rest of your life and I just want something plain and simple that works with my voice and my watch. I'll be posting smaller updates like this one in between the streams so you can catch up. SayRay is on the App Store: https://rfer.me/sayray I spent 12 years as an engineer at Apple, and now I build apps live on stream with AI tools and share the whole process as I go.
