The 6 Levels of Viral Carousels 0$ Turned It Into a Skill ( For FREE )
There are 6 levels of Instagram carousels, and most people are stuck on level 1 or 2. In this video I go through all 6, from the Canva template everyone uses to avatar carousels where every slide moves with music. For each one I show what it looks like, how it's made and what it costs, and I turned all of it into 1 free Claude skill 👇 🎁 Get the free carousel skill (installs in about 2 minutes): https://www.skool.com/nextphase-5790 🪜 The 6 levels 1️⃣ Canva: same template as everyone else. Cover the username and you can't tell who made it. 2️⃣ Untrained AI: "make it modern and premium" with no reference. Purple gradients, glowing brains, robots shaking hands. It's slop, not because AI is bad, but because nobody told it what good looks like. 3️⃣ Trained: a style sheet + guardrails. $0, or a paid route if you want nicer images. If you only take 1 level from this video, take this one. 4️⃣ Avatar: your face, a mascot or your whole team in every post. I locked an AI version of me on Higgsfield and made 9 carousels with it. 5️⃣ Motion graphics: every slide is a looping video with its own music and sound effects. $0. 6️⃣ Avatar + motion graphics: your avatar carousel split into layers and brought to life. My favorite so far. 🎨 What's a style sheet? (level 3) 1 image with your whole design on it: your colors with the exact hex codes, your fonts, the pieces you reuse (a pill, a card), how each slide is laid out, and rules like "red is only ever a block, never text". Start from designs you actually like and ask yourself what you like about them. Typing "make it better" 10 times won't fix a carousel, and paying for better images won't either. The style sheet fixes it. 🧑 4 rules for avatar carousels (level 4) 1. Make a picture of the feeling, not the topic. 2. Borrow something people already know. 3. It has to work tiny. People see your cover at the size of a stamp: 1 big word, 1 clear image. 4. Keep the face consistent. With only a reference photo, the face slowly drifts, so use a style reference sheet of yourself too. 🎬 How the motion graphics work (levels 5 and 6) Instagram lets you put videos inside a carousel. Claude can't make a video, it writes code: basically a web page that knows exactly what the screen looks like at every moment. A browser screenshots every frame and FFmpeg puts them together into an MP4. I use HyperFrames, a free open-source framework, for that. The music and sound effects are made with code too: no AI video model, no stock music, no credits. For level 6, every slide is split into layers (background, your cut-out, text, floating cards) so every piece can move on its own, starting from your original design. 💸 What it costs Level 3 (free route) and level 5: $0. You only pay for your Claude subscription. Level 3 (paid route): you pay per image, with Nano Banana Pro on kie.ai or Higgsfield's API, using your own key. It tells you how many credits it will use and waits for your "go". Levels 4 and 6: the avatar images cost Higgsfield credits. The motion graphics part is still $0. ⚙️ How to install the skill 1. Go to my free Skool community and click the link. It opens a Google Drive. 2. Grab the zip and drag it into a new folder (call it "carousel"). 3. Copy the prompt from the Google Drive. 4. Open Claude Code in that folder and paste the prompt. It installs the skills and the style sheet references. 5. Then say "make me a carousel, 100% motion graphics" and give it a topic. When you've made one, share it in the Skool community. I want to see it. 🔗 Tools I mention HyperFrames: https://github.com/heygen-com/hyperframes FFmpeg: https://ffmpeg.org Nano Banana Pro on kie.ai: https://kie.ai/nano-banana-pro Higgsfield API: https://docs.higgsfield.ai 🙅 Not sponsored. Nobody paid me for this video, I don't make any money from these skills, and my Skool community is free. To the people selling carousel packs: no hate, I get it. I'd just rather give this away and have you understand how it works. ⏱️ Chapters 0:00 The 6 levels of carousels 1:19 Why it's free 2:44 Level 1: the Canva carousel 3:39 Level 2: the untrained AI carousel 4:42 Level 3: the trained carousel 6:32 Level 4: avatar carousels 8:43 Level 5: motion graphics carousels 12:12 Level 6: avatar + motion graphics 13:53 What it costs 14:06 How to install the skill 15:11 Thank you 📺 Watch next: my first motion graphics carousels: https://youtu.be/hZ_w1d0uYT4 💬 Tell me in the comments: which level are you on right now? 🔔 Subscribe for more free Claude skills like this one. 👥 Join my Skool community: https://www.skool.com/nextphase-5790 #claude #instagramcarousel #motiongraphics #claudecode #anthropic #carousel #aicarousel #aiavatar #higgsfield #canva #instagramtips #instagramgrowth #contentcreator #aitools #socialmediamarketing
