I Gave $5 to Opus 5.5, Argon and GPT-6.1 Sol to Build Fully Working Apps
I gave Claude Opus 5.5, Gemini 4 Argon and GPT-6.1 Sol only 5 dollars each to build the same 3D games, and the results were not what I expected. The first game is a mini golf course on floating islands. Then comes a mini car racer on a dinner table, and finally a full 8-ball pool game. First, we look at how the 5 dollar challenge works, and how each model was stopped the moment it could go over budget. Then we see what each model built for the 3D mini golf game, how long it took, and what it cost. After that, we race tiny cars across a crowded dinner table in the second test. Next, we play the hardest test of all, a full 3D 8-ball pool game. Then we reveal the final scoreboard, and which model won each game. Finally, I share my honest opinion on this challenge, and the caveats to keep in mind. This is part of our quest to find the best AI model in 2026, tested our own way. Subscribe to the channel, as the next 5 dollar challenge is already lined up, with a brand new task for the top AI models.
