My NEW AI Editor Completely FREE 0$ (No Subscription)
π Try Higgsfield: https://higgsfield.ai/s/video-model-showdown-kling-4-jadm-h-cJsSBE π Get Editor V1 free (works with free models): https://www.skool.com/nextphase-5790 The edit at the start of this video cost me $0. No editor, no Claude, no ChatGPT: a free open model (GLM 5.3 Flash in OpenCode) made it with my Editor V1 skill and a one-line prompt π π€ Stuck installing? We run weekly calls in the Skool to help you. Not sponsored by OpenCode or Z.ai (GLM). Nobody paid me for this. πΈ What $0 means No Claude subscription, no ChatGPT, no credits, no API key, no account, no card. OpenCode's own counter for the session: 1.6 million tokens, $0.00. GLM 5.3 Flash is free in OpenCode "for a limited time". After that it's $0.15 in / $0.50 out per 1M tokens. π§ Why it wasn't possible a week ago For AI to edit a video you need an agent that opens your files, runs tools and keeps working for an hour without you. That meant Claude Code and at least the $20 Claude plan. Free models were too small, or got lost on a long job. 3 things changed: 1. OpenCode: a free, open-source agent like Claude Code. It reads the same skill folders, so my Claude skills work as they are. 2. A big free model inside it: since Oct 16, GLM 5.3 Flash is free in OpenCode. 321 billion parameters, MIT license, 6M+ downloads on Hugging Face last month. It runs on OpenCode's servers, so a weak computer is fine. 3. The skill: Editor V1 holds my whole editing system (pace, colors, sounds, captions, the rules it can't break). The model just follows the recipe. No massive prompt. π» What ran where Cutting, graphics, rendering and the sound mix ran on my MacBook Air (16 GB). Only the model ran on OpenCode's servers: 321B parameters don't fit on a laptop. Qwen 3.5 (9B) already runs on mine for carousels, but it's too small to edit. For now. π¬ Which of my skills work with a free model β Editor V1 (the edit you just saw) β My screen-share editor (tested) π‘ My short-form editor: should work, not tested in OpenCode yet β My motion graphics skill: too much heavy code for open models right now Tip: build skills with Claude (it's much smarter), then run them with the free model. As good as Opus 5.5? No. But it does the work. π₯ How to install (step by step) Mac or Windows. On Windows, OpenCode recommends WSL (Linux inside Windows): https://opencode.ai/docs/windows-wsl 1. Install OpenCode. On Mac press Cmd + Space, type Terminal, open it, paste this line and hit enter (the exact line I tested): curl -fsSL https://opencode.ai/install | bash 2. In my Skool, open the Editor V1 post, open the Google Drive and download the Editor V1 zip. Leave it in Downloads. Don't move it, don't unzip it. 3. Close the terminal, open a new one, type opencode and hit enter. No sign-in. If you see "connect", skip it (that's for paid models). 4. Type /models, search "free", pick GLM 5.3 Flash Free. Press Ctrl + T until you see max. 5. Copy the setup prompt from the Google Drive, paste it into OpenCode, hit enter. It says "Claude Code" inside, that's fine: OpenCode reads the same folder. It installs the skill and the free tools (FFmpeg, Python, the video renderer, the speech model), asks before anything that needs your password, and asks if you want the cut-out effect (about 1 GB). Then it makes a 7-second test video. If you see it, you're done. 6. Type /new to start a fresh session. 7. Drag in your video and type: edit this video with editor v1 When it's done, say "open it for me", watch it and give notes. The more notes, the better it gets. π‘ My tips 1. Start short. My test was 38 seconds, not a 20-minute video. 2. Give notes with timestamps: "at second 5", not "the second 5". 3. Before it starts, ask how long it will take. π About the OpenCode hack On Oct 17, OpenCode said its hosted Console was breached and API keys saved there may have leaked. It says the open-source app wasn't affected. This setup uses no Console account and no API key. βοΈ Notes β’ In the free model's edit, the graphics show the Opus 4.5 page while I say Opus 5.5. I left it as the model made it. β’ I said I might be the first. Smaller tests exist (a Shorts-trimming skill, a paid model editing for $0.33), but I couldn't find a free open model doing a full edit from one line. β±οΈ Chapters 0:00 A free model edited my video 1:52 Why it matters 2:23 Why it wasn't possible before 5:17 How it works 6:26 How to install it 8:43 My tips π Sources (checked Oct 25, 2026) OpenCode free models: https://opencode.ai/docs/zen GLM 5.3 Flash: https://huggingface.co/zai-org/GLM-5.3-Flash Claude plans: https://claude.com/pricing π Subscribe, I drop free skills 3 to 4 times a week.
