DeepSeek's FREE Open-Source Harness Just Replaced Claude Code

From the creator

Harbor makes $10,000 a month. I built the original version on Sonnet 3.5, and rebuilt the whole thing on Opus 4.5. Neither was a frontier model by the time I shipped. That is the point of this video: you do not need the best model — you need one that clears the bar. And DeepSeek V4 Pro clears it. In my experience it is at least at Opus 4.8 level, for cents on the dollar, inside a free open-source harness you fully control. THE ARGUMENT • Harbor started on Sonnet 3.5 — good enough for a real internal tool • The full SaaS rebuild happened on Opus 4.5 — good enough for a $10K/month product • DeepSeek V4 Pro is past that bar, and it costs cents • If the intelligence that built my business is now this cheap, the $200/month is optional THE SETUP • The DeepSeek Harness — free, open source, modular (it's WordPress rules: you own it) • One word in my terminal launches and auto-updates it (yesterday's video covers this) • API key from platform.deepseek.com • The one gap is scraping — which is where Bright Data comes in LIVE DEMO I have it pull the real Google SERP for "glamping galway" and reverse-engineer why the top non-directory sites rank. Its read: trust and entity signals over on-page — Google Business Profile, named owners, real address. On-page hygiene isn't the gatekeeper. That is genuinely useful SEO analysis from a cents-per-session setup.
