What Is The Best Model For Motion Graphics (Tested)

✅Higgsfield Promo: https://higgsfield.ai/s/katana-inside-claude-yt-jadm-h-xUOkwW Which AI is the best at motion graphics? I gave Claude Opus 5.5, Gemini 4 Argon and GPT-6 Astra the exact same job: the first 30 seconds of a music video. Same song, same lyrics, same shot list, same images, same prompt. I show you what each one made, how long it took and what it cost. You're the judge 👇 🎁 Free skills every week in my Skool: https://www.skool.com/nextphase-5790 Stuck setting one up? We now run free weekly calls in the Skool to help you. 🧪 The setup (the same for all 3) • Song: made locally with ACE-Step, $0 • Images and clips: Nano Banana, Kling and Higgsfield • Rendered with HyperFrames (open source) on my Mac • The same prompt word for word, the same shot list, the same skills • Each model did the design, effects, code, self-checks and final render on its own. The only message I sent was the same "keep going" when the tool paused. ⚖️ Fair is fair • Gemini ran through OpenRouter, but inside opencode (a coding agent like Claude Code), not a chat window. It had the whole project folder and the same tools Opus had: read and write files, run commands, render, look at its own frames, use helper agents. • GPT-6 Astra had the same setup inside Codex, OpenAI's own tool. • Opus built its version last week in Claude Code, and it had a 15-second test round that I reviewed. Gemini and GPT got 1 prompt, no feedback. • The song literally says "Opus five point five", and Gemini named its terminal window "Claude Opus 5.5". 📊 The numbers Gemini 4 Argon: about 63 minutes, 179 model calls, $9.87 paid on OpenRouter (about $1.60 of that was lost to a bug in opencode, not Gemini). That's Argon's launch price; it's set to double later. GPT-6 Astra: about 23 minutes of work, 116 calls. It ran on ChatGPT Plus ($20/month), hit the Plus limit halfway, and I paid $5.61 on OpenRouter to finish. Claude Opus 5.5: about 1 h 15 min for the final build (4 helpers building 4 scenes at the same time), plus a 50-minute test round. About 544 calls. It ran on Claude Max ($200/month), so $0 on top: about 5% of my weekly limit, roughly $2.30 of the plan. ✏️ Corrections • 2:17 I say "50 second test round". It was a 15-second test round (it took about 50 minutes). • 4:24 and 6:12 I say GPT cost "around $11". That's what the Plus half would have cost at API prices. What I actually paid on top of my Plus plan was $5.61. • 7:11 I say Argon's lava lamp cost "80 cents". It was 18 cents. 🐦 The side-by-side videos from X (all launch-day tests) Gummy bears, Opus 5.5 vs Argon (Opus $7.20, Gemini $22): https://x.com/semichenkko/status/2110131790136401989 Voxel pelican on a jet, Argon vs Opus 5.5 (Opus on Medium): https://x.com/VulKan42069/status/2110029722046631985 Pixel-art night scene, Argon vs GPT-6 Astra (a company that sells model access): https://x.com/AiHubMix/status/2110027719476199856 Lava lamp, 6 models (Argon $0.18 in under 2 min, Opus $1.27 in 9 min 35 s): https://x.com/bridgemindai/status/2110050421184360718 Pixel-art city, Opus vs Argon (Argon ran in Devin, which has it at 75% off for now): https://x.com/notjazii/status/2110073240404271335 ⏱️ Chapters 0:00 Which AI is the best at motion graphics? 0:35 The setup 1:29 Fair is fair 2:30 Gemini 4 Argon 3:34 GPT-6 Astra 4:26 Opus 5.5 5:33 The same shots from all three 5:49 The numbers side by side 6:14 What people on X are sharing 7:43 You're the judge 🙏 We just passed 6,000 subscribers. Makers residency 4th edition

Your idea can be anything. At our last workshops, people built plant-based nutrition businesses, a way to measure planetary resilience, crochet headwear and a way to connect lonely people living in the same building. An asset manager went on to raise an additional £25M on their fund within nine months. The fourth workshop is a full day at KOKO with Nick Sarafa, learning to build with Claude Code. Bring the thing you keep meaning to start. We’ll bring the pizza.
