Claude Video Editing. Posting is Now on EASY MODE. (Turned It Into A Skill)
How I posted 197 reels and TikToks, 3 to 7 a day, with only 20 minutes of recording. 5 AI systems in Claude Code do the rest: one finds the news, one writes the script, one edits the video, one makes the thumbnail, and one posts it with Blotato. The news (my scraper): it asks who you are, what you do and who you're talking to, then scrapes your niche and gives you a list of content ideas. You pick the ones you like. A dentist gets the taboo topics, the most common surgeries, the most common teeth problems. For me (AI), it goes through GitHub, Reddit, YouTube and the AI companies' blogs. 2. The script: a catchy hook, value spread through the whole video (not all in the first seconds), and a call to action at the end. It learns how you talk from your recordings, refines every line that doesn't sound like you, and never uses the words on your blacklist. It wrote me 213 scripts between Aug 16 and Sep 28. 3. The editor (short form, 9:16): cuts mistakes, restarts and long pauses, cuts you out of the background, puts the real posts and pages on screen, word-by-word captions, color grading, 25 to 40 sound effects. 5 styles and a 21-rule blacklist (no emojis, never 2 highlights at once). Every note you give it gets saved. 4. The thumbnail (reel cover): one world + one scale trick + the same text style every time, with the words straight from the script. Me on every cover with my AI character on Higgsfield, 3 to 4 versions, I pick one. It uses Higgsfield credits. 5. Posting: Blotato connected inside Claude. Claude writes the caption and hashtags, Blotato posts to Instagram, TikTok and Facebook at the times I pick. Nothing goes out without my OK. ⚙️ How to install it 1. Skool → the post for this video → Google Drive → download the zip 2. Open Claude Code in that folder 3. Copy the install prompt, paste it into Claude Code, hit enter 4. In Claude: Settings → Connectors → add Blotato (and Higgsfield if you want your own character on the covers) 5. Start a new session, answer the questions (who you are, what you do, who you're talking to), then say "scrape for me" Use Opus 5.5 (type /model in Claude Code). It's a big job, don't go cheap on the model. 💡 My 5 tips 1. Start with 1 video a day, then ramp up 2. Record everything in one go 3. Messed up a line? Just say it again, the editor cuts it 4. Don't like something? Tell Claude, and it updates the skill 5. Understand your script and where to put the emphasis, don't just read it off a teleprompter ✏️ To be precise • 0:00 "197": that's the post count on my Instagram (build.withjade), so it can include a few carousels, not only reels. • 2:21 "GitHub, Reddit, X…": in my own runs the X source didn't work (the free proxy quota was used up in all 14 saved briefs), so my ideas came from GitHub, Reddit, Hacker News, YouTube and the AI blogs. A free Jina key turns X on. • 5:33 "30 to 40 minutes" per short: that's the editing.
