I Gave My Claude Code Site A WordPress Editor (So Clients + Teams Can Edit)

No coding needed, and no lock-in to a platform on the decline. These are the exact prompts I use to build a website with Claude, starting from zero with VS Code and Claude Code installed click by click. It is built for agencies and freelancers who run client sites, and for business owners who want staff posting blogs and landing pages without touching code. Prompt 1 uses Payload, a free open-source headless CMS, to build the site and the admin panel your team and non-technical clients log into. Claude Design sets up reusable templates for the homepage, service pages and blog posts. Inside you get media, users with roles, and 11 plugins, from SEO and forms to multi-tenancy for agencies running every client from one dashboard. Prompt 2 adds Puck, a free open-source drag and drop builder, inside Payload. Every element gets Content, Style and Advanced tabs, just like Elementor. Prompt 3 puts it all live on Vercel, with a one-click database and image storage. The trade-off: there is no plugin store. Anything past the 11 built-in plugins, you ask Claude to build. That is also the upside.
