I Tested GPT-6.1 Sol vs Opus 5.5 (WILD RESULTS)

From the creator

GPT-6.1 Sol vs Claude Opus 5.5: OpenAI says its new GPT-6.1 Sol is almost as smart as its top model for a fraction of the price. So I gave Sol and Claude Opus 5.5 the exact same prompt: build an app where a contractor scans a room with their phone, sees it in 3D, and hands the customer a priced quote they can sign. Here's which one got the price right, how long each took and what each cost 👇 👥 Join my Skool community: https://www.skool.com/nextphase-5790 The test: one prompt, one single file, no server, no paid tools, and it has to work on a phone. Scan a QR code, spot the furniture with the camera, measure the room, build it in 3D, pick a paint colour and a floor, then price it and get it signed. Both apps had to price the same sample room (16 x 12 ft, 8 ft ceiling, 1 door, 2 windows, 6 pieces of furniture). There's only one right answer: $3,104.68. 💰 Price per million tokens GPT-6.1 Sol: $2 in, $10 out Claude Opus 5.5: $4 in, $20 out Sol is half the price per token. 🟢 GPT-6.1 Sol (OpenAI) ✅ Got the quote price right ✅ Clean, bright design: change the paint colour and the floor, spin and zoom the 3D room ✅ Edit the measurements and the price updates instantly ✅ Measure by hand or with your phone, remove furniture, then the customer reviews the quote, signs it and downloads a PDF ⚠️ The live camera scan didn't really work ⏱️ Built in 51 minutes for about $1.36 🟠 Claude Opus 5.5 (Anthropic) ✅ Got the quote price right too ✅ More realistic 3D room, and the walls drop down so you can see inside ✅ Tap a wall right in the 3D room to change its size (I couldn't do that in Sol's app), and add a window in one click ✅ Floor plan view and a furniture list you can add to ✅ The customer signs, accepts the quote with a little animation, and downloads a PDF with their signature on it ⚠️ The live camera scan didn't work here either, the dark design looks more "vibe coded", and you can't drag furniture around ⏱️ Built in 1 hour 3 minutes for about $3 🏆 Both got the price right, Opus cost about twice as much, and I left the winner up to you. This is a full-day hands-on training workshop for purposeful co-creation with AI using Claude Code. Imagine having access to hundreds of billions of dollars of computing power and knowing exactly how to make it work for you through the power of super intelligence. One person did.
