Claude + Gemini: My Game Art Workflow

From the creator

Claude researched the workflow. Gemini generated the art. 13 cents per character. I'm building a multiplayer soccer game but I can't draw at all. So I figured out a two-AI workflow: use Claude with Exa MCP to research sprite-making best practices, color palettes, and prompting techniques, then feed that into Gemini 3 Pro to actually generate the pixel art. The results kind of blew my mind. This video walks through the full process from research to generated sprite sheets, including the exact prompts I used and how Claude helped me build a complete asset creation checklist for NES-style characters. Makers residency 4th edition

Your idea can be anything. At our last workshops, people built plant-based nutrition businesses, a way to measure planetary resilience, crochet headwear and a way to connect lonely people living in the same building. An asset manager went on to raise an additional £25M on their fund within nine months. The fourth workshop is a full day at KOKO with Nick Sarafa, learning to build with Claude Code. Bring the thing you keep meaning to start. We’ll bring the pizza.
