Meta Drops Muse Wonder: Beats GPT-6 Astra & Gemini 4 Argon?

From the creator

https://bitbiased.ai/ai-automation-services Meta's new Muse Wonder Full just scored **79.0% on DeepSWE**, beating Claude Opus 5.5 by 4.8 points in a third-party coding evaluation. After a $14.3 billion Scale AI investment and fourteen months of rebuilding its AI operation, Meta is back in the frontier AI race. But there's a catch. On the independent Artificial Analysis Intelligence Index, Claude Opus 5.5 still leads Wonder Full, 58 to 56. Google's new Gemini 4 Argon is missing from Meta's benchmark table. And one particularly revealing result shows Wonder Full completing just **39.4% of full computer-use workflows**, despite scoring 78.4% on partial credit. So is Meta Muse Wonder a genuine breakthrough in autonomous AI agents, or are the launch demos getting ahead of real-world reliability? On October 12, Meta introduced **Muse Wonder and Muse Wonder Full**, two frontier models designed for long-running agents that can remember information, write code, operate software, use tools, delegate tasks and potentially work for hours. Regular Muse Wonder is available through the Meta Model API at $4 per million input tokens and $20 per million output tokens. Wonder Full is restricted to Muse Code subscriptions costing $50 or $200 per month. Both mark a major strategic shift from Meta's downloadable Llama models toward hosted frontier AI. The technical specifications are ambitious: a one-million-token context window, multimodal inputs covering text, images, video and audio, and agent capabilities built around two features Meta calls **Active Memory and Active Focus**. Active Memory promises to preserve useful context across conversations. Active Focus is designed to keep agents working through failures, changing information and complicated multistep tasks. But Meta hasn't revealed Wonder's parameter count, underlying architecture, training compute, memory implementation or maximum autonomous runtime. And its proprietary MemoryBench and FocusBench results don't independently establish how reliably these systems perform over weeks of real-world use. The benchmark picture is equally complicated. Wonder Full scores 57.5 on SWE-Marathon, compared with 46.3 for Opus 5.5. It also performs strongly on DeepSWE, AutomationBench and several professional-task evaluations. Yet Claude Opus 5.5 leads on ProgramBench, OSWorld and Terminal-Bench. GPT-6 Astra remains competitive across computer use, healthcare and general reasoning. And Google's Gemini 4 Argon introduces another competitor with a one-million-token context window and aggressive introductory API pricing. Then there are Meta's five demonstrations: creating a playable 3D kitchen, planning a run, designing and ordering merchandise using Instagram photos, managing insurance tasks and building a wedding seating chart. They demonstrate impressive possibilities. But **39.4% strict workflow completion on OSWorld 2.1** raises an important question: how much autonomy should an AI agent receive when it can interact with browsers, personal accounts, financial information and external services? We also examine Meta's safety evaluations, the difference between model intelligence and system security, and why earlier Muse vulnerabilities matter even though they involved the older Spark model rather than Wonder. And Meta's biggest advantage may not be Wonder's intelligence at all. With Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, Messenger and AI smart glasses, Meta has a distribution network few competitors can match. This video separates independently tested performance from Meta's internal claims, explains where Wonder genuinely competes with Claude and GPT-6, and investigates whether Active Memory and Active Focus represent meaningful progress toward persistent personal AI agents. **Meta may be back at the frontier. Makers residency 4th edition

Your idea can be anything. At our last workshops, people built plant-based nutrition businesses, a way to measure planetary resilience, crochet headwear and a way to connect lonely people living in the same building. An asset manager went on to raise an additional £25M on their fund within nine months. The fourth workshop is a full day at KOKO with Nick Sarafa, learning to build with Claude Code. Bring the thing you keep meaning to start. We’ll bring the pizza.
