Fuxi Auto-Routes You To The Cheapest AI Model

From the creator

Fuxi routes your coding across four AI providers to cut costs, but can you see which model touched your code? We audit the transparency. Fuxi is a terminal coding agent that auto-routes work across OpenAI, Gemini, AWS Bedrock, and Google Vertex based on cost, but the mechanism that picks your model lives inside a proprietary binary with no independent audit trail. The script walks through what Fuxi actually promises, cost-aware routing with automatic failover, against what's verifiable: the GitHub repo shows 3.3k stars and 225 forks in under two months, but zero published tests outside the project's own benchmark run (which never exercised the cross-provider router). AIOS Guide confirms Fuxi isn't open source; the LICENSE file spells out that the routing logic is proprietary and unreadable. The real test for any provider-switching tool is three-fold: can you see which vendor it picked, can you override that choice before the request fires, and does task state survive a mid-job provider handoff? None of those questions are answered by independent sources. Meanwhile, Aider (45.8k stars, Apache-2.0, fully transparent model selection) and OpenHands (75.8k stars, MIT, SWE-bench published) show the opposite bet: the human names the provider upfront. Fuxi's single-binary packaging means nothing to inspect at runtime, and the only test that matters, whether cheap routing costs code quality, is now impossible to run cleanly because major agent benchmarks (SWE-bench, Terminal-Bench) were recently broken by exploit researchers. The verdict: Fuxi is a plausible multi-vendor portability shell, but the automated routing brain is unaudited. For builders who want vendor portability without betting their codebase on an invisible router. Each video takes one tool, model, or workflow and shows how it works in a few focused minutes, with the real benchmarks and real costs. We go deep on Claude Code and Cursor for AI coding, AI agents and MCP servers, the open-source AI tools and GitHub repos most people miss, RAG and vector search, fine-tuning, and running local LLMs on your own machine with Ollama and LM Studio. We compare models like ChatGPT and Claude, test AI automation with Zapier, Make, and n8n, and flag the tools that actually ship. AI Maker Residence at KOKO

The third AI workshop taught by our legendary teacher, Nick Sarafa. In one of the last events we did an asset manager raised an additional £25M on their fund within a space of 9 months. This is a full-day hands-on training workshop for purposeful co-creation with AI using Claude Code. Imagine having access to hundreds of billions of dollars of computing power and knowing exactly how to make it work for you through the power of super intelligence. One person did.
