Teach Claude Any Task Just by Recording Yourself

I show how to turn on Record a Skill in Claude and how the recording becomes a reusable Claude skill. You can use these skills again in Claude Chat or Claude Co-work. I test Claude Record a Skill with three examples. First, I teach Claude how to create an expense report from receipts. Next, I show Claude how to pull weekly numbers from a CSV file and add them to a report. Last, I teach Claude a full new client setup process with folders, templates, tracking files, and a welcome email. I also show the skill.md file Claude creates. This file holds the steps Claude learned from the screen recording. You can review the file, fix mistakes, and update the Claude skill over time. Claude Record a Skill works best when you show more than one example and explain each step clearly. You should also close private tabs and files before recording because Claude records your full screen.
