Jev is the FIRST of a Whole New Class of AI Models (Here's How to Actually Use It)
I've gone pretty numb to model launches this year. Every one is hyped up as the best model ever made by far, then you use it for a week and it's just... fine. Jev is different - it can't write a single sentence, yet it's the first model I've been genuinely excited about in months! Jev only makes decisions, that's the whole product. It takes in some state and a list of typed questions, and gives back decisions with probabilities in about 200 milliseconds for a fraction of a cent. All the gates in your AI coding setup that used to be a regex or a slow LLM call are candidates now! I've been putting it through the wringer this week, testing it on all kinds of things. It plays my indie game at three decisions a second, triages every open PR in my repo, and picks the model for every request my agents make - all for just pennies.
