Can a Tiny Robot Check on a Loved One Who Fell?
I'm teaching a little robot duck I don't own yet to spot a fall, so one day it can check on a family member or a loved one who can't get up. MicroDuck from Pollen Robotics and Hugging Face won't be out until around Christmas, so I used Gemini 4 Argon in Cursor to plan the whole thing and train it in a simulated apartment on my DGX Sparks at home. The camera frames never leave the home network, a vision model running on my Sparks reads what the duck sees, and it comes back with a person lying down, appearing to have fallen and possibly needing assistance. Next I want it to alert me on my phone or my Grok Bot and call for help. Everything in this video runs in a simulator. Nothing here has been tested on a real duck or a real person yet.
