The Only AI Video Editing You Will Ever Need (Turned it Into A Free Skill)

I didn't edit a single frame: every picture, every color, every sound. None of the pictures are AI generated. They're real, and Claude found them online on its own. My business partner and I run bi-weekly calls to help you. 🛠️ How I built it I gave Claude Opus 5.5 three reels with the edits I wanted (real pictures, colors changing, super fast, a sound on everything) and told it to study them frame by frame. It went through all 5,982 frames and measured: • how often the picture changes (in one reel, 175 times a minute) • the colors, where the captions sit, how big the words get • the sound effects on their own (it split the voice from the music) Then it turned it all into one named style. Now I just say "use Editor V1". ❌ Version 1 was bad My notes: use the sounds I gave you, more imagination, more clips, look at the 3 reels to the millisecond. It went deeper and found stuff I never noticed: • at least half of every reel is moving clips, not still pictures • a lot of lines are puns (I said "leaked", it showed a dripping tap) • most shots slowly zoom in, and every new shot starts blurry and goes sharp • a picture on screen for 4 seconds counts as a mistake Version 2 was way better. First message to that demo: about 1 hour 15 minutes, studying the reels included. ⚙️ How it works Claude isn't a video model here, it writes code. HyperFrames (free, open source) plays that code like a web page and renders it frame by frame into an MP4 on your Mac, so changing one thing only changes that thing. It writes down where every picture comes from with its licence, and checks the facts while it looks. 💰 What it costs Almost $0: just your Claude subscription. HyperFrames is free, transcription runs on your Mac, music is your own (no copyright) or made with ACE-Step 1.5, and the pictures are public domain or Creative Commons. 🎬 AI vs a real editor A real editor will always get more detail. But if the news drops this morning and your video comes out 3 days later, it's over. Would I pay an editor today? Yes, one who uses AI. 📏 Long form & short form Short form: go bananas. Long form: full speed in the hook and at each chapter start, then shots breathe 1 to 2 seconds.
