When to Throw Away Working Code

My app already works and I'm about to throw the whole thing away, and this is me deciding to do it out loud. The version I have right now transcribes live on the Mac and on the phone and it honestly looks good, and it also asks you to go get your own key and paste it in, and nobody is ever going to do that, so the plan is to bake everything in and run the model right on the device instead. Instead of picking through the code to switch off all the parts I don't want, I pointed an agent at my own prototype and asked it to write the spec for the rebuild, and then I closed the laptop and went to the gym while it worked, and I'll show you what came back tomorrow from the airport.
