OpenAI COOKED: GPT-6-ASTRA Just DESTROYED Claude in DESIGN
GPT-6 Astra vs Fable 5.1 at website design: I tested Astra in Codex on the Rolls-Royce website prompt I use for my coding-model tests. After criticising OpenAI, this result made me reconsider. In this video, I look at the website it produced, the SVGs, and the approach it took to generate the site from shared data and a template. The part that stood out was the build process. Rather than spending a long time on the task, it created the location data and used a reusable template to produce the pages. I estimate this run took under 10 minutes. I also discuss my experience with Fable 5.1 on the same prompt, which ran for around an hour and 20 minutes and used up my available usage. The design verdict is my opinion from this website test, not a controlled benchmark. This video reviews Astra’s output and discusses my previous Fable 5.1 run; it is not a side-by-side design comparison or a full review of the $20 Codex plan. That plan's usage limits are a separate test I want to do next.
