Claude Opus 5.5 Is INSANE at Motion Graphics 0$ (Turned it into a skill)

I made the same viral-style music video twice with Claude: one paid, one for $0. Everything here came out of my own pocket. 👀 How the viral ones were really made 1️⃣ The original (2.8M views) was posted by a Berkeley master's student with about 1,600 followers. Claude ran 7 Opus 5.5 agents, each coding a scene at the same time. 2️⃣ Donald's remake (almost 4M views) says "one prompt" and "Claude worked for 12 hours". His prompt is 9,608 characters, tells Claude to spend all his Max plan usage, and gives it roughly $2,000 in AI credits (Seedance 2.5, ElevenLabs). Frame by frame: 114 cuts in 2:21, and most of it is motion graphics, not AI video. 3️⃣ The Blender one: Opus 5.5 wrote the code, but the girl, key images and music came from paid models (MiniMax, Midjourney). 🎬 How Claude makes a video Claude can't output video. It writes code (a web page), a browser screenshots every frame, and FFmpeg (free) glues them together. 2:45 at 30 fps = 4,950 screenshots. Because it's code, you can change anything and render again. 🎵 Step 1: the song ($0) Claude wrote the lyrics and made the song on my MacBook Air (16 GB) with ACE-Step 1.5, a free, open-source music model. No Suno, no subscription. It made 4 takes, transcribed each one and picked the clearest. The singer kept saying Claude wrong, so Claude spelled its name "Clawd" in the lyrics. Then it timed every word. 💰 Version 1: paid • Her character sheet: Higgsfield, 10 credits • 21 poses (Nano Banana 2.1) + 6 clips of her moving, 5 s each (Kling 3.0), through kie.ai (pay as you go, no subscription) • A lip-sync test ($0.24). It worked, but it looked like every AI avatar, so I dropped it and told Claude: make her out of code. • 17 scenes, 15 builders coding at the same time. Then Claude watched it and fixed what was wrong. Total: $2.97 on kie.ai + 10 Higgsfield credits. Not $2,000. 🆓 Version 2: $0 One rule: nothing paid. No Higgsfield, no kie.ai, no AI images, no AI video. Only my Claude subscription. • Code can't draw an anime girl yet, so Claude made its own mascot: CURSOR. • He sings with no lip-sync model. His mouth follows the vowels measured from the song itself. • The rulebook: nothing stays still for more than 0.4 s, something hits on every beat, everything bright. • Claude grades itself: it puts a screenshot of every shot on one page, caught the galaxy turning into a white blob, and fixed it. 📊 Paid vs $0 • Character: paid wins if you want a real character or your own avatar. A few credits is enough, then code does the rest. My take: a mix of both. • Money: $2.97 + 10 Higgsfield credits vs $0. • Claude usage (Max plan, weekly limit): paid about 16-19%, $0 about 19%. $0 saves you money, not usage. • Time: each one took Claude about 1.5 to 2 hours.
